1. Reasons for Amendment
ㅇ Newly insert park golf courses and futsal courts into installation criteria for lifetime sports facilities (Table 2 of the Enforcement Rule) to prepare an explicit legal basis to enable the installation of sports facilities through sports facility laws.
ㅇ Improve convenience for sports facility operators by allowing the submission of electronic files or copies, instead of newspapers or original printouts, containing recruitment announcements to attract members in sports facilities.
* Take action to improve regulations as a result of regulatory inspection with the approaching deadline of regulatory re-review (Office for Government Policy Coordination, August 2023).
ㅇ Amend the Enforcement Rule (Table 6 Safety and Sanitation Criteria) to reflect amendments to the Installation and Utilization of Sports Facilities Act (amended on August 8, 2023) and the Enforcement Decree of the Water-related Leisure Activities Safety Act (amended on June 7, 2023).
