1. Reasons for Proposal

The Forestry Culture and Recreation Act was amended (Act No. 19487; promulgated on June 20, 2023; to be enforced on December 21, 2023) to allow a designated specialized institution for the promotion of forestry culture to carry out forestry culture duties in a systematic manner and accordingly, this Amendment prescribes matters delegated by the Act and matters necessary for the enforcement thereof.

2. Major Provisions

A. Prescribe designation requirements and other standards for specialized institutions for the promotion of forestry culture (Article 13-2, attached Tables 3-6, 3-7, and 4)

- Prescribe application and designation requirements for specialized institutions for the promotion of forestry culture, the designation period of specialized institutions, and detailed matters regarding the revocation and suspension of specialized institutions.
