1. Reasons for Amendment

It is necessary to amend the Rule in accordance with the newly inserted Article 25-3 (Prohibition of On-Board Harassment) and Article 25-4 (Measure to be Taken in the Event of On-Board Harassment) so as to apply these provisions to seafarers in training.

2. Major Provisions

A. Expand the scope of application of provisions in the Seafarer Act (Articles 25-2 through 25-4) that are applicable to seafarers in training in accordance with Article 3 (2) of the same Act (Article 3 (1) amended)
