1. Reasons for Amendment
This amendment aims to revise the currently designated national core technology list (Attached Table) in consideration of changes in technology and industrial environment, domestic and international technology levels, etc., based on Article 9 (Designation as National Core Technology and Change and Cancellation of Such Designation) of the Act on Prevention and Protection of Industrial Technology Leakage.
2. Major Provisions
□ Revise national core technology list [Attached Table]
ㅇ (New designation) Designate four new technologies in three fields, including one technology in the mechanical field, two technologies in the nuclear field, and one technology in the railroad field, that require protection by being designated as national core technologies due to their relative technological superiority and high growth potential.
ㅇ (Clarification and change of technology scope) Modify 24 technology names in eight fields, including semiconductors, secondary batteries, displays, shipbuilding, automobiles, and railroads, among the currently designated national core technologies.
ㅇ (Cancellation) Cancel three technologies in the nuclear field that have become generalized or commonplace and have reduced the need for protection from national core technologies.
□. Expand and modify the national core technologies, which currently consist of 75 technologies in 13 fields, to 76 technologies in 13 fields
